"Hi, I'm Beth – I’m here to help you on your low carbon journey. Together we'll get your carbon-spending under control and have you 'in budget' in no time!"
Cut ya carbs!
Cutting your carbon emissions is easy. A few adjustments and you can do your bit on climate change and even benefit your well-being and bank balance too! Whether you're all set to meet the Fair Shares, Fair Choice carbon 'budgets' (the 2009 personal carbon budget is 3.9 tonnes) or need a serious carbon makeover, Beth has some helpful hints (and links to even more!) that can help.
Take a few minutes to use our carbon calculator to discover your current carbon footprint, and find out the areas of your lifestyle that use the most carbon.
For lots of easy steps and helpful hints for reducing your carbon see Beth's 'Carbon Challenges'. Go for the areas of your life that are most 'over budget' and where you can make easy changes. For an example of how easy it can be to reduce your carbon footprint to within your fair share for 2009, 3.9 tonnes, check out mother of two, Frances' story in our 'Get in budget case studies'.
Let Fair Shares, Fair Choice know how you are getting on with going 'low-carb'. Contact us or write your own low-carbon story (if you have a tip or perhaps a 'carbon confession' that you're dying to share!) that could feature on this website!
And don’t forget to Sign Up to the principle of Fair Shares, Fair Choice, a globally fair and safe carbon share for everyone, and join the campaign!
